For 25 years Nabuzardan has been the Art Carnival for boys and girls (but not only!) organised by Segni d’infanzia. This year it will be hosted in the splendid setting of Palazzo Te, on Saturday 18 February 2023.

The celebration of Santa Lucia links Mantua to cities in northern Europe and those in the south of the peninsula, recalling the importance of traditions and rituals. Segni d’infanzia invites you to share in the anticipation of the most special night of the year.

The Festival dedicated to theater and art for children and young generations, returns live to Mantua in the 2022 edition. 9 days – from 29 October to 6 November 2022 – with events, shows, workshops and spaces for discussion of international level.

Performances, art workshops and meetings with authors await families, boys and girls between the natural places, beaches, castle and lighthouses of Giglio Island.

Different proposals for all ages, from 18 months to 18 years, strongly inclusive, for a vacation between theater and nature.

While waiting for the most special night of the year, you can find here a calendar of the main activities – not only organised by the Segni d’infanzia association but also by other organisations operating in the area – for families, children and young people, that can be done in the city, and not only, from 1 to 13 December.

After the summer adventure, the Festival dedicated to children and young people, families, schools and cultural operators returns to Mantua in the traditional autumn period.

9 days – from 23 October to 1 November 2021 – with over 100 events, performances, workshops and discussion spaces.

Whether alone, at school or as a family, you have one month to make your own creative work dedicated to the iconic animal of 2021, the Chameleon. In this schedule you will find content full of ideas for experimenting with new techniques and exploring the themes of the Chameleon edition.

SEGNI Festival this year also happens in summer in Mantua, from the 21st of June to the 17th of July with live shows and workshops dedicated to families, children and teenagers  from 18months to 18years. 80 events in 20 days in outdoor spaces and art venues.

SEGNI New Generations Festival lands on Giglio Island for five days of shows, artistic theatre workshops, meetings with authors and discussion spaces. 40 events in five days dedicated to spectators aged 3 to 18 and their families.

On the occasion of ‘World Theatre Day for Children and Young People’, which falls on 20th March, at an abnormal time when the theatres are still closed, we want to give all children a small gift with the free viewing of the play ‘Hermit’.

The Children’s Carnival in Mantua, organised by the Segni d’infanzia association, has a long tradition and is linked to some of the city’s most beautiful art venues. The 23rd edition of the Nabuzardan will be broadcast from Palazzo Te and the 6th edition of the Carnival a regola d’arte will be broadcast from Palazzo Ducale: an online but interactive experience, a great treasure city of art and entertainment, with streaming and on-demand content. A rich schedule with activities leading up to the events will start on 3 February.

The 2020 SEGNI Festival is back on the air for the festive season with lots of new content designed for Christmas.
