The 19th edition of the Festival is back in Mantua dedicated to theatre, art, entertainment for children, teens, families, schools, cultural delegates, with events, shows, workshops, international comparison spaces and the ForesTEEN General Meeting: the partner organisations of the European project meet in Mantua for the first of four annual appointments.

Once again this year, Segni is involved in the organisation of this initiative in the centre of Mantua with the contribution of the Department for Family Policies, Parenting, Childhood, Adolescence, Reconciliation and Equal Opportunities of the Municipality of Mantua and in collaboration with Confcommercio Mantova.
Waiting for Saint Lucy this year, from 3 to 12 December, is under the banner of wishes: in the kindergartens and primary schools of the Municipality of Mantua ‘ESPRIMIDESIDERIO’ have been distributed, postcards on which children, girls and families can write what they most wish for this festive season, a deeper wish that goes beyond the traditional letter from Santa Lucia.

For 25 years Nabuzardan has been the Art Carnival for boys and girls (but not only!) organised by Segni d’infanzia. This year it will be hosted in the splendid setting of Palazzo Te, on Saturday 18 February 2023.
The celebration of Santa Lucia links Mantua to cities in northern Europe and those in the south of the peninsula, recalling the importance of traditions and rituals. Segni d’infanzia invites you to share in the anticipation of the most special night of the year.

SEGNI Festival this year also happens in summer in Mantua, from the 21st of June to the 17th of July with live shows and workshops dedicated to families, children and teenagers from 18months to 18years. 80 events in 20 days in outdoor spaces and art venues.
SEGNI New Generations Festival lands on Giglio Island for five days of shows, artistic theatre workshops, meetings with authors and discussion spaces. 40 events in five days dedicated to spectators aged 3 to 18 and their families.
On the occasion of ‘World Theatre Day for Children and Young People’, which falls on 20th March, at an abnormal time when the theatres are still closed, we want to give all children a small gift with the free viewing of the play ‘Hermit’.
The Children’s Carnival in Mantua, organised by the Segni d’infanzia association, has a long tradition and is linked to some of the city’s most beautiful art venues. The 23rd edition of the Nabuzardan will be broadcast from Palazzo Te and the 6th edition of the Carnival a regola d’arte will be broadcast from Palazzo Ducale: an online but interactive experience, a great treasure city of art and entertainment, with streaming and on-demand content. A rich schedule with activities leading up to the events will start on 3 February.
The 2020 SEGNI Festival is back on the air for the festive season with lots of new content designed for Christmas.
