COME SE•ME

“Come SeMe” is a poetic journey through gestural and rhythmic storytelling, made of sounds and a handful of words. An essential set and a few elements form a space that welcomes two breaths, two voices, and two bodies in search of the right place to sprout. There’s a before and there’s an after. There’s an under and there’s an over. There’s an inside and there’s an outside. There’s a very tall tree, but so small it fits in a hand. There are a mother’s arms and a secret refuge. There’s a gentle breath that passes through the branches and hair, like wind. The warm embrace of the earth, the nourishment of water, the warmth of the sun, the sweet caresses of the wind, and the mystery of life will happen! Little seed and little child. Here we are! And now? What do we do? Where do we go? For now, we just are. You just have to know how to wait. You just have to learn to make mistakes. You just have to know how to try again. We just are, in that seed that contains everything. The show is dedicated to Elena.
