Sara Zoia

Sara Zoia got a degree in 1999 at Scuola di Teatro del Piccolo, where she was a student of Giorgio Strehler, Giulia Lazzarini and Ferruccio Soleri. She developed her education working with: Peter Brook, Bruce Myers, Jos Houben, Juan Carlos Corazza, Cristina Pezzoli and Carolyn Carlson. In 2001 she won the award “premio Hystrio alla vocazione”. During the following years she participated to many productions. Among other, “Viaggio al termine della notte” by Céline, curated by Salvatore Lazzaro and Susanna Beltrami, for the CRT of Milan, “Gerusalemme liberate” written by Tasso, direction of Tonino Conte for Teatro della Tosse of Genoa. From season 2002/2003 to season 2009/2010 she had the role of Clarice in “Arlecchino servitore di due padroni” written by Goldoni, historical direction of Giorgio Strehler. In 2010 she returned to Piccolo Teatro for “Donna Rosita nubile” written by Federico García Lorca, direction of Lluís Pasqual. Among more recent interpretations there are “Maternity Blues” written by Grazia Versani, direction of Elena Arvigo, “La Torre d’Avorio” written by Ronald Harwood, direction of Luca Zingaretti, “Angeli e Nuvole” and “Amore e Psiche” both by Cristina Cazzola and Lucio Diana. In the last years she’s collaborating with Segni d’infanzia for various projects and events.
