The Masterclass will focus on both trajectories of art and business, using as case study the foundation and development of the Andalusian Amsterdam Orchestra of which Mohamed Aadroun is the founder.
“The AAO was born as a dream by the ambition of a young couple who wanted to see their heritage as part of the cultural landscape. We can say that it is about understanding what tools needs to be acquired to develop new perspectives and build a business around the dream, to make sure we get a solid and lasting impact” Mohamed says.
After a first theoretical part, it will move on to practice. The participants will be asked to get involved and create their own show. In the final discussion, it will be analyzed how this show can strengthen and grow (or not) the idea of the platform mentioned at the beginning.
