FIABEL

The show explores light in the darker corners of stories. It is a continuous dialogue between a human figure who uses their body and voice as a means of expression and the shadows created by an overhead projector.

All the characters are played by the actress, who transforms herself from one role to another. Thanks to the overhead projector behind the audience, images and suggestions are created that bring the set to life and interact with the actress. Using shadows and projected images, the show takes on a dreamlike and poetic aesthetic.

Tiny objects and old toys become giant shadows, and the story becomes a magical and otherworldly experience.

The narrators are: the Stepmother, who recounts the loneliness of a woman in conflict with her stepdaughter; the Wolf, who is a sort of clown, a victim of his own hunger, but whose victims are caused by his carelessness; the Forest, which becomes a living book made of branches and recounts the abandonment suffered by Hansel and Gretel.
