What makes something truly incredible? The force that destroys, or the force that resists?

Hans Christian Andersen tells us a fairy tale in which a marvellous clock, which speaks of profound values, is destroyed before everyone’s eyes. Yet what seemed lost… is put back together again. Silently, without vengeance, without noise. And it is precisely in that silent resilience that the most incredible thing is revealed.

In this performance, Andersen’s fairy tale encounters an archaic and mysterious figure: the Lynx.

A nocturnal, solitary animal with keen eyesight, the lynx is a symbol of those who can see the invisible, those who are not fooled by appearances, those who listen to what is not said.

Through his eye – a metaphor for inner vision – this story becomes a journey of perception, where every gesture, word, pause or movement is an invitation to look beyond.

In an age that applauds swift action, in a world that rewards those who destroy in order to be noticed, the Lynx asks us: ‘What if the real wonder were that which endures? That which rebuilds itself? That which no one notices, but which remains?’

This performance is a ritual. A crossing. An attempt to open a more attentive, slower, deeper gaze.

An opportunity to ask ourselves together: What do we choose to see? And with what eyes?

The event includes a walk (trekking discussion) of about 20 minutes to reach the performance venue.
