The performance is proposed as an approach to music through the comparison of classical musical and theatrical narrative forms. A modern girl, with her voice and strong personality, helps the two nineteenth-century artists, Rossini and Ferretti, to unite music, words and singing in an opera that has become famous throughout the world.
