Raffaele and Daria, two puppeteers by trade, know that to tell this ancient fairy tale you need a stepmother, two half-sisters, a prince, a king and a little girl, Cinderella!
But they do not know what awaits them. The puppets, in fact, immediately reveal a life of their own.
Raffaele has just finished sculpting his stepmother and is already amazed by her accent; the half-sisters complain about how the puppeteer has finished them; the king father struggles to be present; Cinderella questions her dream; the prince procrastinates on his responsibilities.
Daria struggles to maintain a balance between the parts but, inexorably, the planes become blurred and the thin border that marks what is real and what is imaginary becomes increasingly thin.
Finally, the couple of animators will be able to tell the tale but only through their very personal experience.
