Morgan enters the scene in a state of euphoria, carrying an Eurospin bag and a cake: it’s his birthday and he’s waiting for his guests, but they won’t show up.
The excitement gives way to anger, despair, and finally depression.
While compulsively zapping through channels, everything on TV seems to be talking about him, until he stops on “Corazones Locos,” his favorite telenovela. Here, the protagonist Rosalia, abandoned by her Rodrigo, seems to be speaking directly to Morgan.
Overwhelmed by the enchantment, the two characters indulge in tragicomic reflections on their lives, which are not so different after all. In the meeting between reality and fiction, two solitudes speak, confront each other, and perhaps find comfort. One thing is certain: neither Rosalia nor Morgan will be the same from tomorrow on.
