Tof Théâtre

Tof Théâtre was founded in 1987 on the initiative of Alain Moreau to create the show “Le Tour du Bloc”. Initially created for adults, the show was performed more than 500 times for adults and children around the world. The company soon acquired a taste for far-flung travels, visiting thirteen countries with this first show… Always at the centre of the shows, the puppets can vary in height from 5 centimetres to 5 metres, sometimes for adults only, other times for children, and often for both. A devotee of “reduced realism”, Tof subverts the traditional techniques of manipulation and offers the puppeteer to the spectator’s gaze through sight manipulation. Leaving the obscurity of the theatre behind, Tof Théâtre also takes to the streets with shows specially created for this audience.
