Founded on December 8, 1979 when it represented “The Little Prince”, under the guidance of Angelo Pennacchio, the Frame Theater has been able to distinguish itself from the numerous companies born in those same years of strong political, social and cultural commitment, coming to constitute a real piece of history of the theater of the city of Brescia. Since 1987 the focus has shifted towards activities aimed mainly at minors and families, with the awareness and conviction that children’s theater is not a simple and less demanding form of entertainment, but requires perhaps even greater sensitivity than theater aimed the adult audience.
In the context of Italian children’s theater, “il Telaio” stands out for its predilection for poetic and surreal aspects, even when dealing with purely didactic issues.
