Kepler-452

Kepler-452 was born in 2015 in Bologna from the meeting between Nicola Borghesi, Enrico Baraldi, Paola Aiello and, for the organizational part until 2021 Michela Buscema, then Roberta Gabriele. Kepler, since his birth, had an ambition, a desire, an urgency: to open the doors of theaters, to go out and observe through the lens of the stage, what is outside, in the unshakable conviction that reality has an autonomous dramaturgical force, which is just waiting to be organized on stage. Over the past four years, Kepler-452 has produced and directed five editions of Festival 20 30, which brought hundreds of under 30s to the stage in an attempt to draw a generational fresco, and produced numerous shows, including The Revolution is Easy Se you know how to do it, together with Lo Stato Sociale,

three editions of Lapsus Urbano, an audio-guided tour through the conflicts of the city fabric imagined together with the playwright Riccardo Tabilio.

Comizi d’amore, a participated theater project inspired by Pasolini’s documentary of the same name, “La grande età” produced by the Agorà season which staged the lives of over twenty over eighty-year-olds, “The cherry garden – Thirty years of happiness on loan for use”, produced by ERT-Emilia-Romagna Teatro and winner of the Critical Network Award 2018, and F. – “Perdere le cose”, which debuted at Vie Festival 2019.

From November 2020 Kepler-452 brings the performance “Deliveries // A Curfew performance to the streets of Bologna”, followed in December by “Curfew // Night expeditions for deserted cities”, a seasonal production by Agorà Theatre.
