Drogheria Rebelot

Drogheria Rebelot is a Milan-based theatre company offering tasty theatrical products, whose mixture of different expressive languages is the essential ingredient.

It was born from the encounter between Miriam Costamagna, Andrea Lopez Nunes and Andrea Rizzo that took place within the ‘Nico Pepe’ Academy of Dramatic Art in Udine.

After graduating in 2015, each pursued research in different areas, for Miriam and Andrea Lopez in children’s theatre and figure theatre and for Andrea Rizzo in contemporary dance.

In 2019, Miriam and Andrea L. decide to create their own company with which to experiment with what they have learnt, with a focus on shadow theatre and the mixing of languages, thus involving Andrea R.

In addition to their theatrical research, they conduct experimentation in Figure Video in which, by creating a mixture between the language of figure theatre and the language of film, they seek to enhance each other’s potential.

They currently have two shows to their credit: “Caro Lupo” (selected for Progetto Cantiere promoted by the Incanti Festival in Turin) and “CartaSìa” (winner of the “Portraits on Stage” 2021 call for proposals, finalist of the N Uovo Teatro 2021 Prize and finalist of the “Forever Young 2022” call for proposals promoted by Corte Ospitale).
