Consorzio Balsamico was born in 2020 within the path of High Education Animateria for operators expert in the techniques and languages of puppetry, promoted by Teatro Gioco Vita, and co-financed by Emilia Romagna Region and European Social Fund. Giada Borgatti, Silvia Cristofori, Virginia Franchi, Eva Miškovičová and Alessandra Stefanini, coming from different paths, start a shared project of research, looking for a balance in the union of different languages of belonging. Consorzio Balsamico moves its first steps in investigating pure elements in order to bring their simple, archetypal and primordial nature into the theatrical dialogue. In 2020 the first study, Pochi centimetri di terra, has been represented within the festival “Arrivano dal mare” and within the theatrical season “Rifugi”. In 2021 the Company is engaged on two parallel projects that investigate two different subjects: the earth and the water.
