Compagnia TPO

The TPO Company is directed by Davide Venturini and Francesco Gandi, who work with a team of engineers and artists specialised in image and sound. Key collaborators include Rossano Monti (engineering), Elsa Mersi (visual design), and Spartaco Cortesi, Federica Camiciola, Francesco Fanciullacci (sound design). The performers, including Valentina Consoli, Běla Dobiášová and Sara Campinoti, dance in harmony with the images and soundscapes, offering the audience a vivid and dynamic theatrical experience through movement.

Each performance is conceived as an interactive ‘set’, a stage machine that dialogues with the movement of the actors, be they dancers or children. Images and sounds are integrated with the movements, transforming gestures into interactive actions in real time.

The theatre of the TPO Company is a visual, emotional, tactile and immersive experience, in which the protagonist is the stage space, enriched by images, sounds and body movement. Thanks to the innovative use of digital design, the performances become ‘sensitive environments’ that allow us to explore the fine line between art and play. Dancers, performers and audience share the stage, experimenting with new forms of expression that overcome language and cultural barriers.
