LAN-DE-Sì Collective was born in the summer of 2018, when a group of young actors and actresses – Tomás Acosta, Irene Gandolfi and Sara Moscardini – joined Mantua to give life to a shared actor training and a directorial experimentation and collective dramaturgy. In 2019, the illustrator and art therapist Marta Lonardi joins the group. The multidisciplinary character of the group directs LAN-DE-Sì towards an approach to artistic creation that mixes theatrical language with illustration and video and which is always open to contamination with different disciplines and influences. Since then, LAN-DE-Sì’s activities have involved theatrical performances, workshops, exhibitions, animated videos, reviews and cultural events and have met various realities of the Mantua area including ARS – Creation and Entertainment, MantovaPlayGround, the Kokedama Association and the Arc3a group, whose partners include Festivaletteratura, Caravan SetUp, Alkémika, Palazzo Te, Palazzo Ducale, Segni d’Infanzia and Pantacon.
Outside the Mantua area, the Collective has developed several projects with Nonsoloteatro, artistic theme of Unoteatro s.c.e.t.s, Accademia Perduta / Romagna Teatri and Assitej Italia – National Association of Children’s and Youth Theater. The projects that the LAN-DE-Sì Collective carries out always arise from the idea that we need to see, experience and learn with every part of our body, with our every thought and with our every idea.
