GENERATOR – Inspiring steps into the world of dance
Discover a unique journey through the world of contemporary dance with GENERATOR project. A chain reaction of cooperation in scaling processes to create better access to dance as needed language in art, in development of humans and in general as more frequented cultural behaviors. Developed in partnership with the prestigious Centre for Choreography Development in Toulouse, this programme offers new horizons to young people between the ages of 13 and 18, theoretically and practically.
VRUM Performing Arts Collective promotes contemporary dance as an integral part of education. The workshop “Tracing Footprints: A Journey Through Dance History” takes participants on a journey of discovery through the history of contemporary dance, from seminal moments of the last century to the present day. In the section “Breaking Boundaries: 10 Formative Moments in Contemporary Dance”, they experience the masterpieces of artists such as Pina Bausch and Jerome Bel up close. Our practice-oriented method enables participants not only to observe dance, but to actively experience and understand it. Each workshop is an inspiring journey that challenges and enriches body and mind in equal measure. Generator offers a vibrant experience that celebrates the diversity and power of contemporary dance.

What are the PASTA MADRE Masterclasses?
Non-formal training aimed at cultural workers and operators, teachers and adolescents: live exchange experiences and knowledge transmission together with cultural sector representatives from around the world.
Why this name? Through the metaphor of the magic of the multiplication of the dough that resulted from the exchange between mother yeast, water and flour, this is how the participants and guests of the PASTA MADRE Masterclasses multiply their knowledge and skills through the transmission of knowledge in non-traditional ways. PASTA MADRE Masterclasses are aimed at approaching new forms of cooperation for a holistic approach to cultural management.
