Bottega degli Apocrifi

Bottega degli Apocrifi was founded in Bologna in 2000 by three university students training in theatrical disciplines and a musician studying at the Conservatory.

In 2004, the theatre company migrated against the tide and moved from Bologna to Manfredonia, the city of origin of some of the group’s members, with the political objective of cultivating the desert, which less impressively would sound like ‘to take the profession of theatre where there was none’, betting that theatre could be a job in Italy, even in the South.
