Simone Guerro

Simone Guerro is a director and playwright, specialized in productions for children and youth, theatrical operator in social work, teacher of growth paths of the Centro Studi Podresca. In 2008 he graduated in Arts and Sciences of Performing Arts at the University La Sapienza of Rome. From 2004 to 2007 he trained and worked as assistant director, actor and dancer with director Michal Znaniezcki; he continued his training with the director Pippo Delbono until 2009, and later with the dancer-choreographer Augusto Omolù (Odin Teatret) and the pedagogue and choreographer Monica Francia. His theatrical productions tour all over Italy and abroad. With “Voglio La Luna” he reaches the final of the Scenario Infanzia Award and in 2013 he wins the Eolo Award 2013 as the best educational project of Italian Children’s Theatre. In 2016 he also won the 35th National Festival of Theatre for Children in Padua with “Robinson Crusoe: L’Avventura”.
