Orto degli Ananassi, was born in 2006 as a synthesis of the experiences gained by the founders in some of the most prestigious national and international schools (Scuola del Teatro Stabile di Torino directed by Luca Ronconi, Scuola Internazionale dell’Attore comico directed by Antonio Fava, Ecole Internationale de Theatre Jacques Lecoq of Paris) and with important directors (among them: Luca Ronconi, Massimo Castri, Tadeusz Bradecki, Deborah Dubois). The purpose of this meeting was to put the experiences gained through the different languages and contexts explored, at the service of one’s own artistic project, with the intention to stage a theatre that could be urgent and evocative.
