FACTORY carries out activities for the production of shows, realization of international cooperation projects, workshops and theater projects within the Prison of Lecce. In 2011, 2012 and 2015 the company produced the Shakespearian trilogy with MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, ROMEO AND JULIET and THE TAMING OF THE SHREW. The shows have toured extensively in Italy and abroad, like CINDERELLA, dance theatre show “tout-public” with which the company was at the Fringe Festival at Edinburgh and in other countries. In 2016, DIARY OF AN UGLY DUCKLING, the second show co-produced with TIR danza, which once again combines theatre and dance, opens. In 2019 two new works make their debut: “MATTIA E IL NONNO”, winner of the EOLO AWARDS 2020, by Roberto Piumini with Ippolito Chiarello and “CORRI, DAFNE!” by and with Ilaria Carlucci.
