exvUoto teatro builds bridges. Founded by Andrea Dellai and Tommaso Franchin in 2012, the company collaborates with several artists, not only from theatre. Right from the start they began experimenting with spaces that were not usual for the theater, like shop windows and vacant spaces. In “SISTER(s) – Miraggio su strada qualunque”, already semifinalist at the Scenario 2015 award, won the CURA2016 call, receiving the support of Residenza IDRA and Teatri Di Vita and was hosted, among others, in the season of the CSS of Udine and at the Tramedutore 2018 festival, in 2019 he won the Inscena di Arci competition. Since 2014 they collaborate with Clessidra Teatro (Taranto) in urban regeneration projects in the Taranto area. In 2017, in residence in Verdecoprente, the Emotional Mapping of a territory participatory theater project was born, which is then hosted, among others, by the Ca ‘Foscari University of Venice and by various Municipalities and Festivals; in 2021, thanks to the winning of a tender from the Veneto Region, the project will be enriched with a podcast component and an interactive app.
From summer 2019 the company has been organizing the theater series for families “Il Giardino di Alice” at the Giardini Salvi in Vicenza. “Un Coniglio, Solo”, the new show was born thanks to the residences at the Le Forche Theater in Massafra and the Residenza Qui e Ora ad and is waiting to debut. The cross-media project “Nella Tana”, already reported in the Kilowatt digital residences call, won the Cross Award 2020.
