Cada Die Teatro was born in Cagliari in 1982. For many years it has been based at the Vetreria di Pirri, a former glass factory, which has become a cultural center of the city of Cagliari. The company has identified in the centrality of the actor the main element of its theatrical poetics. For Cada Die Teatro research has meant dealing with strong themes, close to their own experience and roots, in an attempt to combine a popular and contemporary theater. The experimentation of new scenic languages that dialogue with the present, the care for the work of the actor, the interest for the oral narration, have characterized the artistic path of these years. A poetic continuity that can also be seen in the productions of theater dedicated to children and young people. In 2001 Cada Die Teatro obtained the Critics’ Award assigned by the National Association of Theatre Critics.
